This Indenture made this 21st day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty six between Mathias Blocher and Elizabeth his wife of Scott County Indiana of the first part and Robert Parks of the same place of the second part. Witnesseth that said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of twenty five Dollars to them in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have remissed released and forever quit claimed and by these presents do remiss release and forever quit claim unto said Robert Parks his heirs and assigns forever their undivided eleventh part of the following described Tract of Land lying and being in the County of Scott. Towit One Hundred ten acres lying in the South West quarter of Section twelve in Township three North of Range Seven East also Eighty acres being the West half of the South East quarter of the same section Township and range as the above containing in all one hundred and ninety acres Being all the right title interest claim and demand of the party of the first part as legal heirs at Law of Hugh Parks, sr. late of said county deceased of in and to said tracts of Land to have and to hold the same and every part and parcel thereof unto the said Robert Parks his heirs and assigns forever. In Testimony whereof the said Mathias Blocher and Elizabeth his wife have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written. Signed, sealed and delivered in presence of Willis L. Traylor and James Jones. Mathias Blocher, Elizabeth Blocher, her mark. State of Indiana Scott County I Willis L. Traylor Recorder of said County Scott do hereby certify that on this 21st day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty six personally appeared before me Mathias Blocher and acknowledged the within instrument of writing to be his voluntary act and deed for the purpose therein mentioned. Also Elizabeth Blocher the wife of the said Mathias Blocher who by me being examined privately separate and apart from and without the hearing of her said husband and the full content and purport of the said deed being by me made known to her she acknowledged that she executed the same of her own free will and accord without any coercion or compulsion fro her said husband.
