  Estella Jane Newberry - Herald-News, The (Feb/17/2005) Estella Jane Newberry Died: 02-10-2005 Estella Jane Newberry, 87, of Chattanooga died Thursday Feb. 10, in a local hospital. She was a native of Dayton, but had lived in the Chattanooga area for many years. She was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church and Senior Neighbors. She was a retired Press Operator at D. M. Stewart Manufacturing after more than 30 years of service. She was the daughter of the late Andrew J. and Lucy Turner Bankston and was preceded in death by her sister, Katie Tocco and brother, Robert Bankston. She is survived by her children, Barbara Newberry of Chattanooga; Richard (Kathy) Newberry of Graysville; Vivian (Thomas) Pettigrew of Chattanooga; Raymond (Debby) Newberry of Cleveland; sister, Margaret Pegues of Dayton; 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the East Chapel with Rev. Ronald Ragon officiating. Burial will follow at Rhea Memory Gardens in Dayton. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 a.m. until noon at the funeral home. Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 404 South Moore Road, Chattanooga, is in charge of arrangements.
